The Edge® sports drink provides a great source of isotonic energy and hydration in amazing thirst-quenching fruit flavours. Providing two sources of carbohydrate electrolytes to contribute to the maintenance of endurance performance during prolonged endurance exercise and to enhance the absorption of water during physical exercise. One of the only isotonic energy drinks available that not only replaces electrolytes like sodium which contributes to normal muscle function and potassium but also magnesium which contributes to normal muscle function, a reduction of tiredness and fatigue, normal energy-yielding metabolism, and normal protein synthesis. Similarly the inclusion of zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal testosterone levels in the blood, the normal function of the immune system and protection of cells from oxidative stress.
